CPSA member Nancy Sikes-Kline reported to Historic City News this morning that Citizens for the Preservation of St. Augustine has joined the National Trust for Historic Preservation in celebrating National Historic Preservation Month by creating a new educational YouTube video.

Historic City Media was notified that the Public Works Department of the City of St. Augustine will begin its yearly sewer system smoke testing in specific areas of the city. The testing will be conducted between 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. on Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, May 19th and ending July 31st.

Intergenerational Movement Workshops to be held May 24 at the Cultural Arts Center at St. Augustine Beach according to an announcement received by Historic City News this afternoon from the St. Johns Cultural Council.

The Republican Club of Greater St. Augustine is hosting Candidate Series 2008 Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the St. Augustine Yacht Club, Republican candidates for the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners, District 1, Cyndi Stevenson and Albert J. Abbatiello, will be the guest speakers.
