FDOT road repairs and maintenance report
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.


St Augustine Lifesaving Association President, Jeremy Watkins, has asked Historic City News readers to participate in an upcoming yard sale event to benefit 21-year-old Johnny McClure; a member of the US Lifeguard Association, St Augustine Lifesaving Association, Marine Rescue Team, and participant on the St Johns County Lifeguard Competition team.
St Johns County firefighters have announced to local Historic City News reporters that they will participate in the “Fill the Boot” fundraising event to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Historic City News readers are invited to participate, for free, when volunteers at Fort Mose Historic State Park, dressed in period attire, offer visitors a fascinating glimpse into the past this Saturday, August 24, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
City inspector Brett Brown reported to Historic City News that starting on Monday, August 26 and continuing through Friday, August 30, a city contractor will be trimming trees within the right-of-ways along streets lying south of King Street, and between Riberia Street on the west and Cordova Street, on the east.
