Local talent contest offers cash prizes
In addition to a grand prize including a beautiful crystal trophy and recognition during several events throughout St Johns County during 2012, three talented contestants will receive cash prizes in the upcoming local amateur event, “St Johns Got Talent”.








Historic City News reporters listened last night as community activist Melinda Rakoncay addressed the City Commission, members of the audience and residents with an impassioned plea to fight against building practices by the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind that do not comply with local codes.
Gwendolyn Duncan, the 40th ACCORD, Inc., President, informed Historic City News local reporters that the recent Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. event in St Augustine was a wonderful success.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
