Tentative millage rate approved
Historic City News reporters learned from County Administrator Michael D. Wanchick that his office recommended no millage increase for the 2011 budget — at their regular meeting Tuesday, the County Commission formally took the recommended action and adopted a tentative millage rate.

“One historic feature of the nation’s oldest city is not aging well and needs immediate attention — the pipes that carry the city’s water supply,” Public Works Director Martha Graham told Historic City News this afternoon.
