Snakebite sends St Johns resident to hospital
A 65-year-old Mallard Landing Boulevard resident was assisted by St Johns County emergency medical personnel this evening, after he was apparently bitten by what he believes to be a copperhead snake.

From the Unified Command Post at the St Johns County Emergency Operations Center, Historic City News is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Arthur and will provide further updates as deemed necessary.
National Weather Service Jacksonville has informed Historic City News that St Johns County Emergency Management is at “Level-3 Monitoring” status this morning as a result of a low pressure front developing to our east, over the Atlantic Ocean.

When Historic City News learned that a St Augustine tow truck operator was summoned to bring in a disabled 2006 Pontiac G-6, parked along I-95, we had no way to know that this would be the last call he would answer.
