Two down, jury convicts Kentrell Johnson

This afternoon, after an hour of deliberation, Historic City News received word from Court Communications Officer, Ludmilla Lelis that a St. Johns County jury has found Kentrell Feronti Johnson guilty of the first degree premeditated murder of Florida State University graduate student, 29-year-old Vincent John Binder.

Daughter wipes out elderly mother’s bank accounts

400-OAKES-SJSOThe daughter and son-in-law of an 87-year-old female victim of elder abuse, have turned themselves in to the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office this afternoon, and are in custody at the county jail in lieu of $100,000 bond, each. They are accused of operating a scheme to exploit and defraud the elderly couple of their life savings over the past six years.
