Daughter wipes out elderly mother’s bank accounts
The daughter and son-in-law of an 87-year-old female victim of elder abuse, have turned themselves in to the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office this afternoon, and are in custody at the county jail in lieu of $100,000 bond, each. They are accused of operating a scheme to exploit and defraud the elderly couple of their life savings over the past six years.




Deputies are combing the dunes, in search of and collecting evidence after a resident walking their dog stumbled across a body Sunday morning, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.

Homicide Investigator Cpl. Pete Young reported a fatal single-vehicle crash in Bunnell this morning after the driver reportedly passed out behind the wheel while traveling east on Moody Boulevard.
