Letter: Make objections known Monday night

Dear Editor:
It is important to let the city commission hear why you are opposed to the 7-Eleven going in at the corner of San Marco and May Street during general public comment at the City Commission Meeting tomorrow, Monday December 8th.

There is probably no worse feeling than being falsely accused of a crime. I would not wish that on anyone. Sheriff David Shoar says he took up the fight for Deputy Jeremy Banks following the death of his former girlfriend, Michelle O’Connell, for that very reason. But many in the community, as well as the O’Connell family, say they have been denied justice.
For a duo who reveled in commercial success in the 1980’s while managing to escape critical acclaim, Daryl Hall and John Oates performed to sellout crowds in St Augustine and Clearwater this weekend; and Historic City News photojournalist Mark Cubbedge was front and center.
St. Augustine’s 60th Annual Christmas Parade ushered in the holiday season for local Historic City News readers with floats, marching bands, cars, horses, and the arrival of Santa.
