Beach commission to hear proposed parking plan — some residents resisting

A second special public meeting will be held to discuss the subject of paid parking within the City of St Augustine Beach on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the commission meeting room of City Hall, located at 2200 A1A S, St Augustine Beach, FL 32080.

Assistant Chief Cuthbert headed to FBI National Academy

Historic City News local reporters were informed today that Assistant Chief of Police Anthony W Cuthbert has been selected to attend the 275th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He will be departing on January 5, 2019, for approximately three months.

Saturday evening, January 5, 2019, the historic reenactment community, through a partnership between the Historic Florida Militia, the City of Saint Augustine and the St Johns Cultural Council, will be conducting another “History on the Streets” saunter along Saint George Street and the historic area here in Saint Augustine.
