Saviak appointed to Judicial Nominating Commission
U.S. Senator Marco Rubio announced to Historic City News this morning that St. Augustine resident and Florida property rights advocate, 39 year-old Carol Saviak, has been appointed to serve as a member of the federal Judicial Nominating Commission for the Middle District of Florida.






After 2 hours and 22 minutes of public comment and commissioner debate, testimony from two attorneys representing the current carriage operator and two attorneys representing the city, we have a new carriage ordinance – on a 3-2 split vote.
