Senate Joint Resolution 74, Single-subject Limitation for Constitution Revision Commission Proposals, by Senator Rob Bradley passed unanimously off the Senate Floor, according to a report from Florida Senator Travis Hutson (R) 7th District, received by Historic City News earlier today.
Historic City News was notified by Florida Department of Transportation Public Information Officer, Allen Nelson, that traffic will be impacted at the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations where roadwork is being conducted.
In just two years on the job, St. Johns County Property Appraiser Eddie Creamer, has earned his Certified Florida Appraiser designation. Creamer, who took the reins of the property appraiser’s office in January 2017, received the title after meeting all standards established by the International Association of Assessing Officers.
Charges are pending, along with a determination of whether alcohol played a role, in last night’s two-vehicle crash on US-1 at Datil Pepper Road. Two drivers and two passengers were rushed to Flagler Hospital for emergency medical treatment. One of the passengers was a one-year-old child, the other less than one-year-old. One driver was killed.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office informed local Historic City News reporters Wednesday morning that they had obtained felony arrest warrants against 18 different persons for various drug dealing charges. Investigations that led to the
narcotics-related warrants were the result of numerous undercover operations.
Last month, local attorney and business owner, Anne Marie Gennusa, announced to Historic City News that she will be seeking election for the position of Public Defender of the 7th Judicial Circuit; replacing current Public Defender, James S. “Jim” Purdy, upon his retirement next year.
