Historic City News has learned that The St. Augustine Archeology Association in conjunction with The Florida Public Archeology Network will present its February lecture Dr. Rachel K Wentz talking about The Windover Site: A Glimpse of Life in Florida 7,000 Years Ago.

Wednesday, February 11th, the public is invited for a 55 minute screening of “JOURNEY TO FREEDOM“, a new documentary feature (scheduled for release in 2010) that is directed by Academy Award Winner Deborah Shaffer.

Historic City News has received an announcement from Mayor Joe Boles today that St. Augustine will once again have the opportunity to welcome an official delegation from its sister city, Avilés, Spain.
