Applicants sought for county board vacancies

Melissa Lundquist reported to Historic City News that St. Johns County is currently accepting applications for the following Board and Committee vacancies.

Hearings Monday on plaza vending and parades

At the regular meeting of the St. Augustine Board of City Commissioners, the commission will tend to public hearings and final action on four ordinances (as well as the introduction of a fifth) all of which have been adjusted to comply with court rulings concerning the city’s regulations on visual arts, vending, and parades.

Time change for commission meeting

Historic City News has been informed that the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will begin their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 15, at 1:30 pm instead of the normal 9:00 am start time.

City of St. Augustine Offices Closed for Labor Day Holiday Historic City News has been notified that the offices for the City of St. Augustine will be closed Monday, September 7th in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

St. Johns County Tourist Development Council reported to Historic City News that their Category II Arts/Grants Funding panel will meet in special session this Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
