City may ban soliciting at overlaoded intersection

If a proposed ordinance is advanced Monday, the heavily traveled intersection of US 1 and SR 207 will no longer be a soliciting site.

$480k Signage contract up for approval

George Gardner reported to Historic City News through The St. Augustine Report that a $480,000 design and build contract is going before the City Commission for approval Monday night, signaling a start to the long-awaited highway signage that will direct traffic to the Historic Downtown Parking Facility.

Artists sue City of St. Augustine

Historic City News has verified that on yesterday, as threatened, a group of downtown artists filed suit against the city in United States District Court through their attorneys; Sheppard, White, Thomas & Kachergus, P.A. of Jacksonville and Thomas E. Cushman, Esquire of St. Augustine.
