City Finalizes Dates for Budget Workshop and Hearings In an announcement received by Historic City News this morning, The City of St. Augustine has announced the dates for its workshops and hearings regarding the 2008-2009 city budget.

Historic City News was informed this morning that the St. Johns County Family Integrity Program is inviting individuals and couples to two upcoming foster parent events.

The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously on Tuesday to cease action on the proposed Fire Municipal Services Benefit Unit (MSBU).

The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners is considering implementing a Municipal Service Benefit Unit to fund fire services in St. Johns County as previously reported by Historic City News.

According to an announcement received by Historic City News this afternoon, the St. Johns County Engineering Division will be hosting a meeting regarding a proposed project for shoulder stabilization and drainage improvements to North First Street in St. Augustine.
