Reader said to know identity of CVS robber
When the CVS Pharmacy, located at 57 Tuscan Way in St Augustine, was robbed Sunday afternoon, one observant Historic City News readers recognized the man who was shown on surveillance video and reported the information to St Johns County Sheriff’s detectives who are following the lead.



The two north-bound lanes of South Castillo Drive in front of Castillo de San Marcos have returned to service as the resurfacing work being done from Cuna Street north to Orange Street has been completed.
The City of St Augustine is alerting Historic City News readers to be expecting the Bridge of Lions to be closed for extended periods overnight on Thursday and Friday, September 27 and 28 for repairs.


Traffic Homicide Investigators have informed local Historic City News reporters that a motorcyclist, first believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries in a vehicle-vs-motorcycle crash, is now known to be in stable condition at Orange Park Medical Center.
