A 2010 Dodge Avenger traveling southbound on I-95 at a high rate of speed; was observed overtaking slower moving vehicles at about 8:00 p.m. last night; before the driver made an abrupt lane change and lost control of the vehicle.

St Johns County Fire Rescue spokesman Matthew Sara reported to Historic City News that at approximately 1:20 a.m. this morning, a suspected methamphetamine lab erupted into flames in the 1900 block of Powell Road in St Augustine.

About an hour ago, Historic City News was informed that the fugitive, 35-year-old Kevin Allen Masters who resides at 5850 St Ambrose Church Rd in Elkton, was taken into custody and incarcerated at the St Johns County Detention Facility.

Robbery suspect identified by detectives

Using information provided by an anonymous tip, obtained through facebook and crime stoppers, detectives were able to collect enough evidence to obtain an arrest warrant for the suspect in Sunday’s robbery of the CVS pharmacy located at 57 Tuscan Way in St Augustine.

An emotional 51-year-old woman who testified that a former Sheriff’s watch commander had been stalking her and her family for over two years, told Historic City News that she can “have some relief for 5-years” after Circuit Court Judge Wendy Berger handed down the sentence against Roger “Wayne” Colee earlier today.
