St Johns team takes 1st place at Tampa event

Over 3000 athletes and 10,000 spectators participated in this weekend’s Suncoast Sports Festival at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, including a team of boys from St Johns County representing First Coast Gymnastics; who won 1st place overall.

Yesterday, St Johns County deputies believe a 58 year-old Jacksonville man chose to end his own life — he was found in a lounge chair on the beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, the apparent victim of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Chet Bell, CEO at SMA Behavioral Health Services, reported to Historic City News that all former employees of Putnam-St Johns Behavioral Health in St Augustine were notified on Friday that they will become Stewart-Marchman-Act employees as of Wednesday, February 1st.
