National Drug Takeback Day safely disposes of 159 lbs of prescriptions

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office informed Historic City News that during their participation in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back on Saturday, residents safely and properly disposed of 159 pounds of unneeded or expired medication.

Marine rescue extracts ill patient from shrimp boat in heavy seas

Historic City News received word that in cooperation between the US Coast Guard, St Johns County Fire Rescue and the St Augustine Fire Department, a shrimper at sea, about a mile offshore, was able to be successfully airlifted from harm’s way.
