Park and Recreation hosts 2019 Howloween Walk and costume contest

Danielle Anderson, Flagler County Republican Club president, informed local Historic City News reporters that it was a great night for Republicans in northeast and central Florida when the Republican Club officially kicked off the 2020 election season this month.

Speaking for St. Johns County Emergency Management, Kelly Wilson informed local Historic City News reporters that they are closely monitoring the weather and are participating in conference calls with the National Hurricane Center and National Weather Service Jacksonville for the most up-to-date information on this weekend’s potential tropical cyclone.

Historic City News was notified by Florida Department of Transportation Public Information Officer, Allen Nelson, that traffic will be impacted at the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations where roadwork is being conducted.
Be alert to lane closures and temporary detours, as well as increased congestion in these areas. FDOT employees and contractors will be working on the roadways and need your full attention.

The 27th Annual Biketoberfest began today and runs through October 20, 2019. Biketoberfest is an annual motorcycle rally hosted in Daytona Beach and is expected to draw more than 125,000 visitors.
