At about 9:40 a.m. Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrived on the scene at the Vilano Causeway Boat Ramp in response to a reported small plane crash. The pilot of the four-seater passenger plane was identified to Historic City News as 42-year-old John Bailey of Saint Augustine.

City unveils cleaner and more “correct” brand image

One of the items recently approved by the St Augustine City Commission, was a new branding identity for the city.  This is not the first time City Hall has felt the need to re-invent the logo used by the various offices of local government.
