The Department of Business and Professional Regulation reported to Historic City News that, effective today, all vendors licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises who derive more than 50% of gross revenue from such sales of alcoholic beverages shall suspend such sales of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises.
On Saturday afternoon, Historic City News associate editor, Don Louis, reported that his lunch plans had to be cancelled because the restaurant where he was going had been notified that an employee came into contact with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus.

St. Johns County Communications Specialist Kelsee Russler reported to Historic City News that local small businesses who have suffered a loss of revenue or disruption to their business operations because of the COVID-19 pandemic may qualify for short-term assistance through the “Back to Business Grant Program”.
The Florida Bar, the state’s guardian for the integrity of the legal profession, announced to local Historic City News reporters that the Florida Supreme Court in recent court orders disciplined 23 attorneys, disbarring three, revoking the license of two, suspending 15 and reprimanding three.
