Many St Johns County short-term rental operators are excited to see that guests are eager to head back to the stands and seats again as iconic competitions, like the Florida-Georgia game, and other big events like major music festivals are making a comeback.

Carolyn Karger reported to Historic City News this week that River House Events Sales and Marketing Manager Constance Wiecking has retired from the position she has held since River House was first constructed.

Historic City News was invited to attend this morning’s meeting and ceremonies to officially welcome the return of commercial air service at Northeast Florida Regional Airport.  Elite Airways introduced low-fare, nonstop jet service between St Augustine and New York City through Newark, New Jersey.  Fares will start at $129 each way.

Smith, spokesman for the Department of Lawyer Regulation of The Florida Bar informed local Historic City News reporters that the Florida Supreme Court has recently disciplined 21 attorneys, disbarring two, suspending ten, revoking the licenses of one, and reprimanding six. Five attorneys were placed on probation and one was admonished.

Ed Wuellner announced that the St Johns County Airport Authority has been selected to receive a $700,000 grant through the Small Community Air Service Development Program.
