Man on $255,000 bail due in court Monday disappears




Police reported to Historic City News that a 59-year-old homeless man living in St Augustine, William Donald Flowers, was warned against trespassing at the Historic Downtown Parking Facility a few days ago. Officers said that they received a complaint that Flowers was back on the property. Flowers was arrested and charged with trespassing and remains in custody in lieu of $750 bond.


As Historic City News continues to monitor the weather conditions in the area, it is being reported that most of St Johns County flooding has subsided; Flagler County continues to experience isolated flooding in some areas of the county.
The Homicide Investigation Unit of the Office of the State Attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit, the Sheriff’s Major Crime Unit and the District 23 Medical Examiner have informed local Historic City News reporters that they are conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 39-year-old St Johns County woman.
Historic City News was informed that heavy rainfall in amounts of 3″ to 6″ impacted southeast St Johns and northeast Flagler counties today, with some of the heaviest amounts between St Augustine Shores southward toward Palm Coast.
Flagler County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking help from Historic City News readers to identify the man who robbed a 73-year-old visitor inside his hotel room at the Best Western Hotel in Palm Coast at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Monday.
