Harley rider suffers life-threatening injuries
Traffic Homicide Investigator J.D. “Mac” McGinnis reported to Historic City News that he responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle crash that sent a motorcycle rider to the hospital with life threatening injuries.



The Florida Highway Patrol informed St Johns County reporters with Historic City News that two Jacksonville men were killed and two female passengers were sent to area hospitals with injuries sustained earlier during a one-car collision this morning on State Road A1A in Ponte Vedra Beach.


The victim of an attack early Sunday evening, sat with sheriff’s sketch artist Vinnie Russo and tried to recall details about the assailant she says jumped her from behind then struggled with her until she was able to break free.
Sheriff’s deputies in St Johns County are searching for a man who used a credit card that was stolen during a car break-in that occurred January 2nd in the public parking lot along SR-A1A South at the Fort Matanzas National Monument.
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Section is searching for a male assailant who attacked a female jogger just before dusk yesterday evening and they are asking Historic City News readers for their help.
The investigation is continuing into the murder of 60 year-old Douglas Wilfred Cracraft, whose body was found lying in the wooded area west of the railroad tracks behind Shoppes of Northtowne in St Augustine Saturday night, January 7th.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
