Historic City News subscribers who hold property insurance policies through the National Flood Insurance Program will be happy to learn that the newly announced CRS Class 5 community fire rating will be of benefit to owners of flood-prone property on or after October 1, 2020.

A scholarship named in memory of Jim Hahn, a member of The Krewe of the 13, Inc. who died last fall, was awarded recently according to an announcement to Historic City News by his wife, Nancy Hahn.  “Jim loved the Krewe and he loved the fundraising,” Nancy said.

David Geithman Ph.D., will be the special guest speaker Tuesday evening when the Saint Augustine Tea Party invites Historic City News subscribers to attend an open meeting October 13th beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the World Famous Oasis Restaurant, located at 4000 A1A South in St Augustine Beach.

Historic City News was notified by the Florida Department of Transportation Public Information Officer, Allen Nelson, that traffic will be impacted at the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations where roadwork is being conducted.
