Streets close to accommodate transfer of historic memorial
The Mobility Office of the City of St Augustine informed local Historic City News reporters of immediate road closures today and Thursday along Avenida Menendez to accommodate the transfer of the historic 1879 cenotaph honoring 46 St Augustine veterans that was built by community volunteers under authority of the Ladies Memorial Association of St Augustine.

Margwarth remains in custody in child porn case
Thursday evening at approximately 4:30 p.m., the investigations unit of the St Augustine Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for 40-year-old St Augustine resident James Michael Margwarth alleging 10-counts of possession of child pornography, each count a third-degree felony.
