The man who St Augustine Police have been tracking since the April 2, 2019 shooting that occurred at the No Name Bar on Avenida Menendez has been identified, located, and, today, he was arrested by local law enforcement authorities in Bryan Ohio.

Historic City News in St Johns County learned yesterday that Flagler County deputies responded to a victim’s shelter early Tuesday morning after receiving reports that a domestic violence offender was being warned against trespass in the area.

Saturday night was apparently the night to drink and drive in St Johns County, according to the booking records of the St Johns County Detention Facility obtained by Historic City News reporters this morning.

A measure aiming to help firefighters in the battle against cancer (SB 426) has been signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis over the objection of some local governments as relayed by the Florida League of Cities.

Police Public Information Officer Cecilia Aiple reported the following incidents to Historic City News this morning, including arrests by the St Augustine Police Department over this weekend. Additional information is available about these cases through the St Johns County Clerk of Court.

Historic City News has received details of the home invasion robbery that occurred between 2:55 a.m. and about 3:01 a.m. Saturday morning in a trailer park located at 271 SR-16 in St Augustine.

A homeless man and a St Johns County woman have been arrested in the early morning hours Sunday and are each being charged with home invasion robbery, a first-degree felony, and aggravated battery, a second-degree felony.  The male defendant is also charged with tampering with or harassing a witness, victim, or informant.
