King sentenced to 15-years in 2019 fatal crash

Tuesday evening, Bryan L. Shorstein reported to Historic City News that local resident 57-year-old Grace Ann King was sentenced to serve 15-years in state prison following her August 20, 2021, conviction for DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide.

Public warned of deadly Nigerian monkeypox

For the second time this year, the United States has an imported case of monkeypox. A traveler from Maryland who had recently returned from Nigeria has been diagnosed with the dangerous illness, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday. The unidentified patient is in isolation in Maryland.

Yesterday, Melissa Morreale, Public Affairs Officer for Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly, reported to Historic City News that Bunnell resident, 49-year-old Ronald Wright, has been arrested after he killed a family’s bird, destroyed the inside of a residence, and was threatening to kill family members.
