St Johns County Director of Public Affairs, Lorena Inclán, announced today that Historic City News subscribers may be eligible for FEMA Disaster Assistance. Both St Johns County residents and businesses may be eligible to receive this federal assistance, but you should begin the application process today.

Chief Steven J. Roberts, with the department of Interpretation, Education, and Visitor Service, informed local Historic City News reporters that the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument will reopen to the public on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Carolyn Karger informed local Historic City News reporters that Sunshine Bus service will be suspended Thursday and Friday, September 29 and 30, 2022, due to conditions related to tropical storm Ian.
