This week tax collector closed in Ponte Vedra
Just a reminder to Historic City News readers who access county services from the Ponte Vedra Beach annex that the office of St. Johns County Tax Collector Dennis W. Hollingsworth, C.F.C., are closed this week at that location for repairs and remodeling.

Early this morning, Historic City News crime patrol reporters learned that the St. Augustine Police Department arrested a local man seen fleeing from a US-1 gas station — only after he led officers on a car chase and short foot race in an unsuccessful attempt to avoid capture.
