School district honors business partners with awards
The Northeast Florida Regional Airport Conference Center in St Augustine was the scene of this year’s annual St Johns County School District Academy Awards; honoring business and community partners for their contributions to the career academies according to Director for Career Education, Paula Chaon.



Flagler College told local Historic City News reporters that their Students in Free Enterprise team advanced to the final four and finished second at the 2012 SIFE USA National Exposition this week in Kansas City, Missouri.
Historic City News has learned that, of the more than 2,000 high school and college participants competing in more than 110 vocational field categories, two students from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind earned medals for their technical skills at the SkillsUSA state competition.
