A St. Johns County man was arrested on charges of sexual assault, battery, assault with intent to commit a felony, armed burglary to a structure, and violation of probation early this yesterday morning.
Jeff Cole reported to local Historic City News reporters that the St. Johns River Water Management District’s Governing Board voted Tuesday to purchase 565 acres of land adjacent to the Twelve Mile Swamp Conservation Area in St. Johns County.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office forwarded two reports to Historic City News identifying a subject who has allegedly been impersonating a law enforcement officer.
Between “snipe signs” and other illegal signs observed around the county, St. Johns County Administrator Michael Wanchick told Historic City News local reporters that a total of 8,200 signs were picked up and disposed of during last year.
