Historic City News received word that a ski-boat was destroyed by fire this afternoon and several pilings on an adjacent bulkhead were charred; but, two passengers on board were spared, according to St Johns County Fire Rescue.
In the early morning hours Saturday, June 2, Historic City News learned that St Augustine police had been dispatched to an apartment at 107 Masters Drive to respond to a disturbance call.
Historic City News learned this week that, with thanks in no small part to Mayo Clinic, beginning July 20, 2018, Elite Airways will begin operating flights between Rochester, Minnesota and the Northeast Florida Regional Airport in St. Augustine.
When St. Johns County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the St. Augustine, Florida, home of Jeremy Banks on Sept. 2, 2010, they found his 24-year-old girlfriend Michelle O’Connell lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to the head and dozens of prescription painkillers in her pocket.

Historic City News was notified by Florida Department of Transportation Public Information Officer, Monica R. Reifeiss, that traffic will be impacted at the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations where roadwork is being conducted.
