Letter: Bill of Rights should protect patients

Dear Historic City News editor:
Most of us walk into a Florida medical facility believing that our rights outlined in the Florida Patients’ Bill of Rights brochures will protect us.
Hastings voter and Historic City News reader Chris Stanton received a long-awaited letter last week that memorializes the commitments of St Johns County Administrator Michael D. Wanchick as the town readies themselves to vote whether or not to disband and become another un-incorporated part of the county.

Historic City News received confirmation from Sergeant Kenneth Mark Boatright Jr. of the Florida Highway Patrol, that a single-vehicle crash on CR-13A, has left the driver of the vehicle dead and investigators still looking for answers.
Historic City News was notified by Florida Department of Transportation Public Information Officer, Debbie Delgado, that traffic will be impacted at the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations where roadwork is being conducted.
Be alert to lane closures and temporary detours, as well as increased congestion in these areas. FDOT employees and contractors will be working on the roadways and need your full attention.
A firearm, stolen from the vehicle of James Black in Flagler County, was identified by matching serial number and recovered Thursday evening from the home of a co-worker at 7 Universe Ct in Palm Coast. The weapon has been located and returned to its rightful owner after sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at that location.
