Developer John Kinsey reported to Historic City News that Chilean-based Crystal Lagoon, the company behind the technology that will allow his master planned community in northern St Johns county to create the feeling of a tropical paradise, has signed Olympic star Michael Phelps as a spokesman for its product.
Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly invited Historic City News to attend a press conference Friday morning with members of ATF, FDLE, Northeast Florida HIDTA, the Bunnell Police Department, the US Attorney’s Office, and State Attorney for the 7th Judicial Circuit, R. A 33-year-old St Johns County man who wanted to hand over a man he had taken into custody under a “citizen’s arrest” for alleged drug activity and false police reporting, was himself arrested when sheriff’s deputies arrived at the victim’s residence in Treasure Beach on Friday.
Charges are pending in a hit-and-run car-vs-bicycle crash that occurred on SR-16 Friday, September 29 about 6:48 a.m., according to a press release received by Historic City News.
