It’s official – HARB members are “officials”.

For some time, the City of St Augustine has relied on a former city attorney opinion that it was not necessary for appointed members of one of the community’s two most powerful citizen boards to file the appropriate financial disclosure of financial interests required of a “local officer”.  Historic City News and others have never agreed with that opinion — and we are in good company.
