Police shut down Davis Shores drug house
Community Affairs Officer Barbara Stevens reported to Historic City News that the St. Augustine Police Department has shutdown an alleged drug house after serving a search warrant at a residence on the corner of Flagler Boulevard and Gerado Street in Davis Shores.

Walk for Tibet cut short when Norbu killed
Jigme K. Norbu, the 45 year-old son of Dr. Thubten J. Norbu, and nephew of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, left St. Augustine yesterday en route to West Palm Beach on a 300-mile “Walk for Tibet” that would end tragically 25 miles later.
