Supervisor announces last day to register
Supervisor of Elections Vicky Oakes reported to Historic City News that the registration books for St Johns County voters would close Monday, July 16 — marking the last day to register to vote or to change your party affiliation for the August 14, 2012 Primary Election.


Flagler College announced to local Historic City News reporters that their new Director of Career Services, Tara Stevenson, is trying to make the process of finding a job in a stifled economy a little less daunting for Flagler students about to graduate college.
Historic City News was informed by Traffic Homicide Investigator, Corporal Gregory Cohn, that Florida Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash in the Heritage Park subdivision at about 4:40 p.m. today; the victim was the 16 year-old son of a St Johns County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Section Coordinator.
