City Awarded $903,000 in transportation grants
Congressman John L. Mica announced to Historic City News yesterday that out of a $2.5 million request, the US Department of Transportation has awarded the City of St Augustine a $753,000 competitively bid implementation grant to continue the Orange Street pedestrian connection to the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument.


Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
