For the past four years, our historic city has been magnificently adorned in white lights and I have not been able to find the time to photograph it. Each year the lights would go dark, early in the New Year, and I would find myself mumbling something akin to “Maybe next year.”
Historic City News reader, Carolyn Mudgette, told local reporters that, as part of her exercise regimen, she goes out for a morning run. Mudgette is a Licensed Massage Therapist in St Augustine Beach.
RJ Larizza, State Attorney for the 7th Judicial Circuit, informed Historic City News that at a sentencing hearing yesterday, 43-year-old Justin Stephen Frazier was sentenced to a total of 20-years in state prison, followed by 15-years’ probation.

This morning while firefighters were on their way to Station 7 at the St Augustine Beach Pier, they were stopped by a passing motorist on A1A who has discovered an injured baby owl on the side of the road, according to a report received by Historic City News today.
In a move heralded to put the application process “closer to the people”, a move that some legislators say will make applying for a concealed weapon permit “more convenient” for taxpayers, Sen. Wilton Simpson and Representative James Grant proposed a bill this week to let county tax collectors handle gun permit applications.
