Commissioners lead District 2 Tour

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Had St Johns County Assistant Administrator Jerry T. Cameron stayed until October 31, he would have completed 15-years’ service to the community he has called home since 1996; instead, Historic City News has learned that he will retire in August — and his replacement has already been named.
Historic City News readers are cordially invited to attend and participate in an informal question-and-answer session with St. Johns County District 1 Commissioner, James K. Johns, during a public town hall meeting on July 16th.
The Consul General of Spain, Maria Cristina Barrios-Almazor, confirmed today for Historic City News that they have requested a meeting between St Augustine Mayor Nancy Shaver and United States Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Spain, James Costos.
