The City Commission in St Augustine is taking a more hands-on position as it relates to the Conch House Marina Resort and how the owner has unsuccessfully tried to control the throngs of guests attending their crowded Reggae Sunday events.
At the conclusion of the special workshop meeting of the St Augustine City Commission on Monday evening, the Visioning 2014 and Beyond steering committee was finally disbanded — but we have not heard the last from them.
Although not part of St Augustine’s latest over-priced and under-delivered “Visioning 2014 and Beyond” prophecy, Historic City News is pleased to report continuing progress with technologies that are more realistically part of our community’s foreseeable future.
Only 1-year and 9-months after moving to St Augustine from Bluffton, South Carolina, the Record editor with the funny sounding title, “Director of Audience”, calls it quits; joining the world of the unemployed, at least for the time being.
