Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Historic City News was informed that the St. Johns County Visitors & Conventions Bureau honored employees in the local hospitality and tourism industry yesterday during the Bureau’s annual meeting.

With only nine months under his belt in any elected public office, freshman city commissioner Todd D. Neville, a local Certified Public Accountant, has moved the City Attorney, Isabelle Lopez, to take on his case against Historic City News, a free press, and citizen journalist Michael Gold, for exposing campaign contributions taken by Neville from a local developer and his attorney.
Historic City News learned that there was a picnic lunch for city employees and volunteers in the community who worked behind the scenes in many capacities to make Celebrate 450! a success. Mayor Nancy Shaver took her turn serving baked beans and pitching in with the chores during the two-hour event at the city’s Main Fire Station on Malaga Street.
