Lynn Waugh Straughan reported to Historic City News that The Cyprian Center for Expressive Arts is a newly formed non profit agency located in Historic Licolnville.

Executive Producer Gary F. Flanigan and Producers Lisa Acker and Jay Allan, congratulated local resident James Bullock on his selection to be a principal cast member for the television pilot “JAX” according to correspondence received by Historic City News this week.

Jay Humphreys notified Historic City News that on September 3rd through 5th, St. Augustine will celebrate its 444th birthday with three full days of special events and activities.

Cathy Dupont reported to Historic City News that effective Saturday, August 1, the Hamilton Upchurch Neighborhood Park will be open from 10:00am until dusk each day, a change from the previous hours of dawn to dusk.

Derek Boyd Hankerson reported to Historic City News on the success of the event that was held yesterday at Fort Mose with the Directors of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African-American History and Culture.

The City of St. Augustine will be making repairs to the water main in Lincolnville on Blanco Street which will affect the water supply for the surrounding areas.
