Making good on a campaign promise, St Augustine mayor, Nancy Shaver, held her first community coffee; a monthly, informal opportunity to chat one-on-one with constituents who either are not able or not interested in attending bi-weekly meetings on Monday nights.

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Last night, the mayor’s Administrative Aide, Danielle Shuman, reported to Historic City News that “300 Concerned Citizens”, one of the grassroots community organizations that Mayor Shaver credits with her November election, held a reception in her honor at the Willie Galimore Center.
