Dear Historic City News readers and potential donors:

Thank you so much for your generous contributions to date! The filing of the appeal and the sufficiency hearing on legal standing were a whirlwind of activity! We have a quasi-judicial hearing coming up on January 15; so now while I have a minute I will provide you all with a recap of what has happened so far and what we can expect going forward.

City officials and area business owners will join together for a ribbon cutting to signify the reopening of Hypolita Street following an eight month closure due to extensive utility work and a complete redesign of the streetscape.

Matthew Fisher Chrest, 19, passed away on November 25, 2014. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and spent most of his life in Marriottsville, Maryland where all who knew him loved him.
