Darby L. Stubberfield, Director of Development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida, has asked Historic City News readers to help the club being built in St. Augustine to win a grant from the Pepsi Refresh Grant project for $50,000 to purchase equipment and furnishings.
St. Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau Communications Director Jay Humphreys reminded Historic City News readers that just because the nation’s oldest city is approaching her 450th birthday, doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot of new summertime adventures and fun awaiting our visitors.
Yesterday, local Historic City News reporters were advised of by Florida Governor Charlie Crist about the first phase of an aggressive 90-day marketing campaign, pumping $7 million into the first three weeks of new advertising.
