About 8,000 may come for Lighthouse Festival
Historic City News reminds our readers that this Saturday, March 21st, it’s time for the 18th annual Lighthouse Festival; this year featuring the Michelob Ultra 5K Run-Walk and the Shepard & Shepard Fun Run.

Historic City News reporters joined a celebratory crowd who gathered for the return to service of St. Augustine’s historic Bridge of Lions today — nearly four years after extensive, lifesaving rehabilitation was begun.

Melissa Dezendorf, City of St. Augustine Archaeology Research and Collections Assistant, told Historic City News that a silver doublet button was recovered during a recent investigation in the Plaza de la Constitucion.

Flagler College Professor of English Laura Lee Smith recently had one of her stories, “This Trembling Earth,” selected for publication according to an announcement received by local St. Augustine news reporters at Historic City News.
Renee Morris, St. Francis House Executive Director, told local news reporters that she will be on hand at Post Time, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 24th for the 7th Annual Nite At The Races fundraiser.
