James D. “Gator” Fiske, Historical Interpreter and Music Events Coordinator for the Florida Agricultural Museum, reported February’s “Music at the Museum” event to the St. Johns County local news desk of Historic City News.

As Historic City News starts the countdown for the long awaited re-opening of the Bridge of Lions, the St. Augustine local news desk will publish a look back on the work that has been accomplished and a peek ahead to the completion of the Bridge of Lions rehabilitation project.
The local St. Augustine news desk received a report of a cost-saving measure being employed by the city in their continuing effort to make city sidewalks safer and more accessible for those who are handicapped.

Cathy DuPont updated the St. Augustine local news desk that in order to make it more convenient for St. Augustine residents to make donations for the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti, the City of St. Augustine has designated its main fire station as a collection point for any donated items.

The Saint Johns Cultural Council reported to the St. Johns County local news desk that their non-profit organization is now holding the 2010 Membership Drive to help accomplish their mission of promoting St. Johns County as a premiere arts destination.
